About Migration for Business Growth

Migration for Business Growth creates opportunity for newly arrived business migrants and South Australian business owners to build relationships while contributing to the South Australian economy.

Through the South Australian Employers Chamber of Commerce and Industry, trading as Business SA, Migration for Business Growth has been developed to assist new business migrants connect with the State’s business sector as soon as possible after arrival.

The program was a key recommendation in Business SA’s pre-election policy document, A blueprint for South Australia’s future, and was announced as a 2006 Government election promise.

Funded by the Department of Trade and Economic Development (DTED), Migration for Business Growth offers:

>    networking opportunities for business migrants seeking businesses for sale, investments, joint ventures, and export through a web based database.
>    access to training and services for South Australian employers seeking to attract and retain skilled migrants, including business training, skill attraction expos and access to Immigration SA’s Freshstart-Jobs website.
>    a Business Migrants Club for further networking purposes and to provide tailored information sessions on conducting business in South Australia, and
>    a website that assists business migrants to connect with the South Australian business community.
