The Australian Bureau of Statistics Labour Force figures show the seasonally adjusted unemployment rate for South Australia in June 2009 remained at 5.4 per cent,

Statistics show the national unemployment rate increased to 5.8 per cent from May's rate of 5.7 per cent.

Nationwide the participation rate decreased 0.1 per cent to 65.3 per cent, while South Australia's participation rate decreased by 0.2 per cent to 63.4 per cent.
