Business SA is launching a new membership group for women who want to target the global market, or who run an importing or exporting business.

The Women of the World program will host networking workshops and trade missions to help SA businesswomen develop their companies on the international stage.

The group's first event will be held at the Department of Trade and Economic Development's Global Horizons Conference on October 20.

A panel of five SA business women -  Wendy Kennedy, Irena Zhang, Christine Cromarty, Pat Moessinger and Larissa Vakulina - will discuss importing and exporting issues.
